John Tocci

Coach Tocci is currently the Boys U10 Coach for the South Shore Stingrays Soccer Club. He joined the club in January of 2009 and coached the first boy's team for the club. Last season he also coached the Boys U11 and Boys U17. John currently is the Boys Varsity Coach at Duxbury High School where he is heading into his fourth season. Prior to Duxbury, he spent eight years at Plymouth South with the Boys Varsity team. John has also coached for two years at the Guilford Soccer Club in Guilford, CT, and at Carver High School Boys Varsity team for two years.

John graduated from Plymouth Carver High School where he played four years of varsity soccer. His senior year he captained his team to a State Championship. Moving on to college John attended Springfield College and played four years, winning two conference titles, one ECAC Championship, and receiving a Rookie of the Year award, four all star nominations, and two All New England awards.

John resides in Plymouth with his wife Donna, son Michael, and daughters Kathryn and Lilah. He has spent the last eleveen years teaching Physical Education at Plymouth South Middle School. John has been refereeing soccer for the last 23 years, starting outdoors and for the last eleven years refereeing indoor in the winters. During the summer time John is a co-owner of Advantage Soccer School and Championship Soccer School which have both been around for over eighteen years.
