Chris comes to the Stingrays with 12 years of coaching experience at the youth through college levels. A native of Plymouth, he graduated from Plymouth South HS in 1995 where he helped the Panthers earn a playoff berth his senior year in the first season that North and South had separated. Chris graduated from Mass. Maritime in 1999 were he captained the team his senior year and received the Boston Globe Player of the Week Award his sophomore year for being one of the top three goalies in the MASCAC, and Defensive Player of the Year his senior year. After college he stayed onboard at MMA as an Assistant/Goalie Coach.
Chris has also coached clinics and camps at the Plymouth Sports Dome and in 2004 he coached the Freshman Boys Soccer team at Silver Lake HS to an undefeated season. Specializing in goalkeeping training, he has been the goalie coach of the Blackhawks of Bridgewater, Crusaders United, and Emerson College Woman’s teams.
Chris currently resides in Osterville with his wife Nicole, daughter Alessandra, and the newest addition to the family, his son Nolan. For the past ten years he has been sailing around the world on merchant ships as an engineer and has had the opportunity to play on the British Royal Marines Soccer Team and with the Kuwaiti Military during his travels. Chris is currently sailing in the Gulf of Mexico working 3 weeks on/3 weeks off on the largest hopper dredge in the US as a First Assistant Engineer.
