Chris Green
Coach Green is currently the Girls U12 Head Coach for the South Shore Stingrays Soccer Club. He joined the club in July of 2008. Prior to the Stingrays, he spent 1 year with Nova Soccer Club (2007-2008) as a GU10 assistant coach. Chris started his coaching career with Plymouth Youth Soccer Assoc. from 2005-2007. Presently holds the "E" coaching license. Chris is also currently on the Carver High School girls soccer coaching staff.
Chris has soccer experience in two countries:
England:
- Played for Hale School
- Played for Lyndhurst Primary School
- MVP-St. Mary's Tournament May 1973
- Played for Minor Athletic Club team
United States:
- After College: Played 1 year with Westchester United in the Cosmopolitan league in New York
- College: Keene State College, Keene, N.H. 1981-1983. Freshman season 1981-NAIA 3rd place in National Tournament; 1981 Team in Keene State College HOF.
- Club Soccer: Senior year in High School played for Westchester United
- High School: Harrison High School, Harrison, N.Y. 1978-1980. Co-Captain Junior & Senior years; All-County senior year, All Conference, All League; All-County honorable mention junior year, All Conference, All League; played Varsity 3 years
- Camps: Pele Soccer Camp-Manhattanville, N.Y.; All-Star Selection - played at Giants Stadium before N.A.S.L Cosmos game.
Chris resides in Plymouth with his wife Brenda and daughters Mackenzie and Kelsey.
