Mike Gomes

Coach Mike Gomes brings with him 14 years of coaching experience, coaching both Girls and Boys from U8 to U18.

Most recently Mike spent the last two years as the Girls Freshman coach  and Varsity Assistant at Plymouth North High School. Prior to that Mike spent 3 years at Silver Lake High School coaching the girls and boys teams, Mike also has been coaching his son and daughter in the Crusaders soccer club. Mike has also been the coach for the Summer Bay State Games, Coastal region for the last 3 years, and in each of those three years Mike's team has made it to the medal round.

Mike has worked with several strong coaches over 14 years of coaching, including Jason Tassinari (current Stingrays coaching director) on multiple levels over the last 10 years; Eric Foley, Plymouth North High School Girls Varsity soccer coach, for 3 years; Jeff Doyle, retired head coach Silver Lake High school, for 2 years. Mike has also had the privilege to spend time with and learn from College coaches  Matt  Cushing, Wheaton College, and Mike Coven, Brandeis University.
